This is the first hot-spring resort hotel under DoubleTree by Hilton, which is located at the north gate of the famous Changbai Mountains in China. Targeting tourists and leisure seekers, YANG’s team explored the meaning behind travel and extracted the theme of “a journey for mind and soul”. The design incorporates varied scenic elements at different altitudes of the mountains as well as distinct Korean ethic customs, allowing guests to purify their souls and return to the true self in the exploration of nature and culture.
